Preamble

The following general terms and conditions of sale govern all transactions established on the web catalog aromessence.ma of SAVON D’ALEP. Any order placed on this site implies unconditional and irrevocable acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale.

Purpose

This contract is a distance contract which aims to define the rights and obligations of the parties in the context of the sale of products by the company SAVON D’ALEP on the Internet, through the e-commerce platform aromessence.ma, a service and registered trademark of SAVON D’ALEP.

Validity of Offers

The items visible on the site aromessence.ma are available while stocks last. In case of a debit or collection targeting the order of an unavailable item, aromessence.ma undertakes to offer a credit or refund to the customer within 15 days. aromessence.ma also undertakes to inform by email any customer who has placed an order for an unavailable item.

Product Presentation

The products offered for sale are described and presented with the greatest possible accuracy. However, if errors or omissions occur in this presentation, the responsibility of aromessence.ma cannot be held liable.

The photographs illustrating the products alongside the texts do not fall within the contractual scope.

Price

Prices are presented in Moroccan dirhams, inclusive of all taxes. The VAT amount is indicated when the customer selects a product. If the VAT rate is modified, these changes will be reflected in the item prices without prior notice to the customer.

aromessence.ma reserves the right to change its prices at any time, but the products will be invoiced based on the rates in effect at the time of order registration.

Order and Secure Payment

6.1 Payment Methods

Cash on Delivery

This payment method also requires processing time. Once your order is placed on our site, it will remain pending until reviewed by the fraud control service. If everything is in order, it will be validated, and an email will be sent confirming that your order has been successfully validated.

Your package will then be shipped, and once received, you will pay your order directly to the delivery person upon delivery.

Cash on delivery involves additional management costs to secure transactions; thus, additional fees are added to the delivery costs.

6.3: Payment Default

aromessence.ma reserves the right to refuse delivery or honor an order from a customer who has not fully or partially paid a previous order or with whom there is a payment dispute. aromessence.ma also reserves the right to verify the validity of the payment before shipping the order by any means it deems necessary (such as requesting identity documents, proof of residence, etc.).

aromessence.ma has implemented enhanced control for all transactions. These additional checks guarantee the cardholder’s identification and protect you against fraud.

Protection against the fraudulent use of payment methods used for the transaction, especially following hacking or disputes over the payment of an order, is ensured by Maroc Telecommerce.

The order validated by the customer will only be considered effective once the secure banking payment center has given its approval for the transaction.

6.4: Payment Verification

aromessence.ma verifies all orders validated on its site. These checks aim to protect aromessence.ma from potential abusive practices by fraudsters.

Our services may ask you for all the necessary documents to unblock your order:

Proof of address or debit in your name

Proof of address in the name of the person indicated for the delivery address, etc.

In all cases, the customer guarantees SAVON D’ALEP that they have the necessary authorizations for the payment method chosen when validating their order.

In case of payment by credit card, the provisions related to the fraudulent use of the payment method provided in agreements between the customer and the card issuer and between SAVON D’ALEP and its bank apply.

Identification

A customer who has already made a purchase on the aromessence.ma site may choose a password allowing them not to refill forms for future orders. The registered customer is recognized as a customer of aromessence.ma.

The password is strictly personal and confidential. It must not be disclosed or shared with anyone.

If the customer loses or forgets their password, they must promptly notify the site manager at contact@aromessence.ma, who will issue a new password within 48 hours.

To facilitate customer identification through simultaneous email and password entry, the customer expressly authorizes aromessence.ma to place a “cookie” file for this identification purpose.

Delivery

Order processing and delivery conditions are as follows:

8.1 Order Processing

All orders will be processed within 24 hours (except Sundays) upon confirmation.

8.2 Delivery Time

Confirmed orders are delivered to the address indicated by the customer within 5 working days unless there are exceptional circumstances. This timeframe is indicative. aromessence.ma is not responsible for delivery delays. Customers will be notified via email in case of delay.

If the delivery delay exceeds one month, the customer may request a full refund. aromessence.ma will process a bank transfer or card refund within 72 business hours after receiving the customer’s banking information.

8.3 Delivery Price

Delivery and installation are free for all furniture orders within Casablanca, Rabat, and surrounding areas. For other cities, delivery is ensured by our partners for a fee of 50 MAD (tax included) for orders under 20 kg. For heavier shipments, a custom rate will be proposed.

Shipping is free for any order exceeding 500 MAD.

Liability

For all steps of accessing the site, browsing, filling forms, placing orders, or receiving articles, aromessence.ma is only bound by a best-effort obligation. aromessence.ma cannot be held liable for any inconvenience or damage related to the use of the internet network beyond its control, including service interruptions, external intrusions, or the presence of computer viruses.

Likewise, any force majeure as defined by jurisprudence exempts aromessence.ma from any liability. Customers benefit from the warranties provided by the brands featured on the site.

Intellectual Property

All elements of the aromessence.ma website, whether visual or audio, including underlying technology, are protected by copyright, trademarks, or patents. They are the exclusive property of aromessence.ma. Any hyperlink to aromessence.ma using deep-linking, framing, or in-line linking is strictly forbidden. Any authorized link must be removed upon request.

Personal Data and Privacy Policy

For service purposes, aromessence.ma reserves the right to collect personal data through cookies as described in Article 6. According to Law No. 09-08 (Dahir 1-09-15 of February 18, 2009), individuals have the right to access, oppose, correct, and delete their personal data by writing to service.clients@aromessence.ma.

This data processing has been declared and authorized by CNDP under Authorization No. D-W-60/2017.

11.1 Collection of Personal Data

Personal data is mainly used for order processing, payment, and delivery.

Collected personal data includes: name, gender, email address, billing and shipping addresses, landline and mobile phone numbers, and payment information.

11.2 Use of Personal Data

Customer data is stored on secure servers certified by authorized third parties. Information may be shared with third-party partners like transport companies.

No data will be sold, shared, or rented without the client’s consent.

Customers can unsubscribe from newsletters via the “unsubscribe” link or their account settings.

11.3 Data Accuracy

Customers agree to provide accurate personal data and update it as necessary. They guarantee ownership of submitted content and compliance with intellectual property laws.

11.4 Security

Customers are responsible for their password. We have implemented SSL encryption and technical measures to protect personal and payment data.

11.5 Cookies

Contests organized by aromessence.ma are free with no purchase necessary and open to Moroccan residents. Winners are informed by email and receive a promo code or gift voucher. Vouchers are valid once, not combinable with other offers, and expire after 3 months (standard) or one year (gift). If the voucher exceeds the order amount, the balance will be saved for future use.
